Bahadurganj (Kishanganj): The way has been cleared for the widening works of the Bahadurganj-Terhagach main road, pending for years. In the last two days, tendering works related to this RCD action plan have also been completed at the departmental level. Top Line Construction also received the tender for the work plan worth Rs 218 crore, which was considered a dream project. After the tendering, some important departmental processes are still to be done, including agreement on the plan. Amid the importance of the action plan, on Thursday, the district administration team under the leadership of district magistrate Tushar Singla conducted an on-site inspection of the construction works. He expressed hope that the action plan would start soon. Instructions were also given to the concerned departmental officials at the site. During this time, a team of departmental officials including district DDC Sparsh Gupta was also present.
On the other hand, RJD regional MLA Anjar Naimi also described this action plan pending for years as the dream project of Kishanganj district. He said that with the completion of the tender, some departmental processes are still left. As soon as the process is completed, the foundation stone of the plan will be laid and the action plan will be initiated. As per the plan, the width of the road will now be 10 metres. In this Rs 218 crore dream project, there is an amount of Rs 80 crore under the head of land requisition. As per the plan point, the said tender was made at a price lower than the estimated amount fixed for the construction works by the construction agency. The remaining amount of about ₹ 120 crore is left only in the construction work element related to the plan, due to which the road widening works will be carried out. Meanwhile, the news of the early launch of the Dream Project has been welcomed by the people of the region. The efforts of the regional MLA and the district administration have been appreciated.
