But after a few months of marriage, Neelam committed suicide. Recently, Pawan Singh opened up about his first wife and called her a goddess.
In a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, Pawan Singh was asked about his first wife Neelam Singh. In such a situation, Pawan Singh said, ‘I stand in front of God and say, God, why do so many tests? What harm have I done to whom? I sleep and think about what harm I have done to whom.

Pawan Singh further says, ‘The one whom you lovingly call Bhabhi, I found a goddess in my life. I lost the goddess. It is not possible that I can meet that goddess again. He is no more in this world and I can only say that there was a scar written on this shoulder. Pawan Singh was further asked how he feels when people tell him the reason behind his first wife’s suicide.
Pawan Singh stayed with his first wife for only a few months.
The Bhojpuri actor said, “I have been travelling with her for three and a half months, it’s okay that she was our brother’s sister-in-law but after marriage we couldn’t even meet each other properly and it’s not like we have been with them continuously for three and a half months.
