Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana: The Jharkhand state government has come up with Mukhyamantri Mainiyan Samman Yojana to provide financial assistance to poor and destitute women residing in its state. Earlier, the minimum age for this scheme was 21 years. A few days ago, Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced this new decision at Namkum Training Camp, Khoja Toli while distributing honorarium to the beneficiaries of Jharkhand Chief Minister, Chhotanagpur South division level Mainiyan Samman Yojana. The Chief Minister said that earlier the age limit of this scheme was 21 to 50 years, due to which girls of 18 to 20 years were left deprived. To overcome this deficiency, girls of 18 years of age will now also be included in the scheme. The Chief Minister also said that under the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ scheme, girls can apply for this scheme and a law will be enacted soon in this regard and the amount will be deposited in their accounts.
