Phone thief tries to commit suicide in emergency room and escapes from PMCH during treatment

On September 2, he stole a mobile phone from Prateek Kumar’s house on Post Office Street, Punaichak. After this, the people seized the stolen mobile phone and handed it over to Shastri Nagar police station. Later, in the early hours of September 3, he attempted to commit suicide in the presence of Shastri Nagar police station by making a rope out of his shirt. However, the policemen spotted him in time and rushed him to PMCH for treatment, where after treatment his condition became out of danger. After this he started walking. Late in the night of September 3, the doctors asked him to undergo an MRI scan. The security personnel were taking him for an MRI and during the scan he expressed his desire to go to the toilet. After this the security personnel unlocked his handcuffs and he escaped from the ration bin in the toilet. After some time, the security personnel got suspicious and opened the door and found no one there. After this, panic broke out among the police and a search was launched for him. After this, the police raided his original hideout located at Anjanpir Sita Chowk in Vaishali district. But he was not found there. Following this, the police caught him on September 4 at a relative’s house in Jarua, Hajipur.
