Pickleball Slam fever is gripping people all over the world. From the United States of America (USA) to India, the sport is fast becoming a fan favourite in every corner of the globe. The biggest names in the country are turning their attention to the sport and the star Indian actress. Samantha Ruth Prabhu He is among them.
On Sunday (September 8), she took to Instagram and gave fans a sneak peek into her love for the sport. Answering a fan’s question about what sport she plays, the 37-year-old shared a clip of her adventures on the court. Taking to her Instagram story, Prabhu shared a video of her playing the sport with full passion and desire. The clip quickly went viral on social media.

For those unaware, pickleball is considered to be the fastest growing sport in the United States of America (USA). It is also rapidly gaining ground in India where several sports enthusiasts are flocking to the courts across the country. Few have claimed that the sport could threaten tennis in the future, including 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.
Sport has also seen some tennis players turn professional. US Open mixed doubles finalist Donald Young played his career tennis tournament at Flushing Meadows as he has permanently taken up pickleball. Next year, one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Andre Agassi, will make a trip to India to inaugurate the PWR DUPR Indian Tour and League. Ahead of the mega event, India will host the PWR DUPR Indian Masters for the first time from October 24-27 in New Delhi next month.
