Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to release the 18th installment of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Yojana scheme on October 5, i.e. today. Under this plan, all “eligible” farmers would receive a sum of $2000 every four months.

PM Kisan Yojana: How to Check Eligibility
Farmers who wish to avail the benefits of the scheme must register, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. These are the steps through which you can verify:
1. Visit the official website of PM-KISAN.
2. Go to the beneficiary list page.
3. Select your state, district, sub-district, block and village.
4. Click ‘Get Report’ to view the list of beneficiaries and check if your name is included. In addition to online lists, the list of beneficiaries is displayed at local Panchayats for greater transparency.
PM Kisan Yojana: Complete KYC
In addition to eligibility, farmers must also ensure that their eKYC is up to date. This must be done to continue availing the benefits of the Prime Minister Kisan Yojana.
The three eKYC modalities available for farmers Those enrolled in the PM-KISAN scheme are: OTP-based e-KYC, biometrics-based e-KYC and facial authentication-based e-KYC, according to the PM Kisan website.
OTP-based eKYC is available on the PM-KISAN portal and mobile application.
biometric eKYC It is offered at Common Service Centers (CSC) and State Seva Kendras (SSK).
eKYC based on facial authentication is available on PM KISAN mobile application.
The last payment of the Prime Minister Kisan Yojana was disbursed on June 18.
