PM Modi: PM Modi to visit Varanasi on Sunday

PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Sunday and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 1,300 crore.

During this time, the Prime Minister will also address two public meetings here.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashi unit president Dilip Patel said that as per the likely schedule, Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the Babatpur airport around 12.30 pm on Sunday. Later he will inaugurate the Shankara Eye Hospital located on Ring Road. The Prime Minister will inspect the hospital and address around 1,000 people.

He said that the Prime Minister will reach ‘Sampoornanand Sports Stadium’ in Sigra by road and inaugurate the ‘Sports Complex’. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many other projects here. After this, the Prime Minister will leave for Delhi around 6 pm.

Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Shankara Eye Hospital located on Ring Road, which will benefit the people of Purvanchal and Bihar, including Varanasi. He said that during his visit to Varanasi, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 1,300 crore, including Babatpur Airport Terminal and other airport projects.

Police Commissioner Mohit Aggarwal said that preparations are being made for the Prime Minister’s visit to Varanasi and arrangements are being made so that the general public does not face any problem during this period.

He said that in view of the Prime Minister’s visit, concrete plans have been made for security. During this period, 5,000 police officers have been deployed. In addition, every corner will be monitored through drones.

During this period, appropriate measures are being taken for the smooth functioning of traffic.
