PM Modi to start ‘Karmayogi Week’, know complete information

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch ‘Karmayogi Saptah’ i.e. National Teaching Week on Saturday. Under this, efforts will be made to provide new stimulus towards the development of personal and organizational capabilities of public servants.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave this information in a statement. The PMO said ‘Mission Karmayogi’ was launched in September 2020 and has made substantial progress since then. It envisions a future-ready public administration, rooted in the Indian spirit and with a global perspective.

The statement said that National Education Week will be the largest event of its kind and will provide a new impetus towards the development of personal and organizational capabilities of public servants. The PMO said this initiative will encourage a new commitment to learning and development. The aim of National Learning Week is to convey the message of ‘One Government’, connect everyone to national goals and promote lifelong learning.

The program will be dedicated to learning through various forms of participation of individual participants and ministries, departments and organizations. During this time, each ‘Karmayogi’ will commit to achieving the goal of learning the tricks associated with the rating for at least four hours.

Participants can complete the specified hours through a combination of individual role-based modules on iGOT, webinars (public lectures or policy expert classes) delivered by eminent individuals. The statement said that during the week, eminent speakers will deliver lectures on the topic of their expertise and help the Karmayogis work towards citizen-centric delivery in a more effective manner.

During the week, ministries, departments and organizations will also organize conferences and workshops to improve sector-specific skills.
