The new appointments are part of Practo’s efforts to expand its business, focusing on using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve health outcomesthe firm said in a statement.
Krishnamurthy previously worked in both multinational corporations and domestic companies, while Kuruvilla, former head of healthcare strategy at Practo, also served as CEO of Medica Synergie.

Founded in 2008, Pract helps patients connect with doctors, book instant appointments and online consultations. It has a network of over 40 crore consumers, 150,000 doctors and 80,000 healthcare facilities.

Practo reported a 22% increase in operating income to Rs 242 crore by FY24, while reducing its operating loss by 90% to Rs 17 crore.
The company plans to achieve profitable growth throughout FY25 by creating innovative products to improve health outcomes. It also aims to strengthen its core business and explore international expansion opportunities.
