An infectious disease called Mpox is spreading across the world. In view of this, rescue and safety measures are being taken in India as well. Hospitals have been asked to remain alert in this regard. Special measures have been taken in many hospitals in Lucknow and beds have also been reserved for separate treatment of infected patients. According to the information received, 30 beds have been reserved so far in major hospitals in Lucknow. Along with this, the Health Department has issued an advisory so that this disease can be prevented and a situation like the Corona period does not arise due to it.
Training is provided to doctors and hospital staff.
Since it is a dangerous infectious disease, doctors and hospital staff are given special training for its treatment and prevention. According to the information received, the Department of Health has asked to give immediate report if the symptoms of Mpox are confirmed. Apart from this, hospitals have also been asked to spread awareness about Mpox. The Department of Health believes that if people are aware of this disease, the damage caused by it can be reduced.

Notice issued by the administration
The Uttar Pradesh administration is busy preparing to prevent and tackle infectious diseases like Mpox. The state administration has also issued an advisory in this regard. In this advisory issued by State Secretary Ranjan Kumar, it is said that along with local infection in African countries, monkeypox has also been detected in travellers travelling there. In view of this, public health services will be made available at all entry points of Uttar Pradesh. In this regard, transit isolation facilities will be set up in all districts having entry points by referring them to a medical unit.
