Speaking to Vogue India, Pee Cee said, “The whole point of my decision to produce female-led films is to amplify women’s voices and stories in an industry that is still very much male-dominated. It’s not just about making films for myself; it’s about fostering a cultural shift towards recognising and celebrating women’s multifaceted experiences.”
She added, “When I first started out in Hollywood, I was quite lonely, but not so much anymore. It’s really exciting. I will always hope and try to push, in my own way, for Indian talent to take over the entertainment world.”
Speaking about how she deals with “bad days” at work, the actress said: “I have bad days like everyone else, but I remind myself how privileged it is to have everything I have, and I stop complaining and go do my job. I put my feelings aside and deal with them when I get home.”
