After releasing the teaser, the creators of Dune: Prophecy revealed the first official look at Tabu as Sister Francesca in the series. In the HBO series, Tabu will be seen sharing the screen with renowned actors such as Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Johdi May, Travis Fimmel, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, and Jade Anouka, among others.

Tabu expressed her excitement about the series: “It’s been an extraordinary experience playing Sister Francesca in Dune: Prophecy from the moment I was approached and said yes without blinking an eye. It’s a pleasure for any actress that the creators have trusted me with such an interesting, intriguing, intelligent and emotionally powerful character.”

”Needless to say, it was a very immersive process to dive into the depths of its complexity. I am very excited to bring its story to Indian and global audiences through JioCinema. Stay tuned as you will see me a little later in the season, but the Dune universe is so rich in history and intrigue that I can’t wait for audiences around the world to explore it,” she added.

Dune: Prophecy is set 10,000 years before the events of the recent films and is based on the Sisterhood of Dune, a novel by Brian Herbert (the son of Dune author Frank Herbert) and Kevin J Anderson.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will follow two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and establish the legendary sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. The series is produced by Max and Legendary Television and its release is being kept under wraps.
