Double launch of iSmart OTT
Double iSmart, Puri Jagannadh’s latest film, is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film released in theatres on August 15 and is now available on OTT without any ads from the makers.
Starring Sanjay Dutt, Kavya Thapar and Ram Pothineni in the lead roles, the film received average response from the audience.
Puri Jagannadha’s Double iSmart is an action thriller that managed to create some buzz on the web before its release. However, it seems that the audience is disappointed with the film and has given it poor reviews.
Its poor performance at the box office led to it being pulled from theatres even before the first weekend was over. The film has been dubbed a ‘disaster’ and has shocked viewers with Puri Jagannadh’s cinematic talent.

The film was released on Prime Video without any fanfare, with none of the makers or producers announcing its OTT release. Apart from Tamil, Malayalam and Kananda, the film is available to stream on the platform in its native language, Telugu. The availability of the Hindi version is yet to be determined.
The first part of the film was a huge success at the box office, despite criticism for its sexist themes; however, the sequel failed to live up to expectations. Bani J, Ali, and Sayaji Shinde played key roles in the film. Notably, Ali’s comic song was criticized for being too harsh. The film also had nothing good to offer to the audience, and Mani Sharma’s music was also average.
iSmart Double OTT Release: About the Movie
Double iSmart finds iSmart Shankar (Ram) in trouble once again as Big Bull (Sanjay), a dying gangster, wants to transfer his memories to become immortal. For the uninitiated, the film is a sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar, in which the titular character found himself in a similar situation when he was first experimented on by the government.
