QS Best Student Cities 2025: Quacquarelli Symonds Rankings, popularly known as QS World Rankings, has released the list of the best student cities around the world for 2025. A total of 150 cities have been ranked in this year’s table in total, QS World Rankings reported.
The ranking methodology requires each city to have a population of more than 250,000 and to have at least two universities included in the most recent QS World University Rankings. For population metrics, the metropolitan area is used wherever possible.
This ranking presents the best urban destinations for international students, based on indicators grouped into six key categories, which are:
- University Rankings
- Student mix
- Attractive
- Employer Activity
- Affordability
- Student view

- London, United Kingdom
The top spot for the world’s best student city so far has been taken by London, with a total score of 100. Below is the score for the ranking:
