Quant Mutual Fund is accumulating one in five rupees of its fund, the highest level in the industry

Amid concerns about valuations in the current bull market, Quantitative mutual fund has chosen to maintain the money Allocation of 19% of its total assets under management (AUM), the highest among all mutual fund houses. Quant ELSS Tax Savings Fund and Quant Infrastructure Fund had Rs 1,337 crore and Rs 1,311 crore in cash, respectively, in their portfolios.


Quantitative large cap fund Quant Mutual Fund had around Rs 599 crore cash in its portfolio, followed by Quant Large & Mid Cap Fund which had Rs 553 crore cash in August. Four sector/thematic funds had less than Rs 100 crore cash in their portfolios. Quant Manufacturing Fund had Rs 85 crore with an equity AUM of Rs 982 crore. Quant Consumption Fund had the lowest cash of Rs 36.86 crore in August. Sandeep Tandon, CEO, Quant Mutual Fund, in an interview with ET Now, said that Quant Mutual Fund has been able to capture market share, particularly in the small and midcap segments, by around 50-60% in the last few months in terms of new inflows.

According to Tandon, the fund manager has not only thrived in the short term but has also emerged as one of the top three to five AUM gatherers and folio gatherers over the past three years.

The fund manager recently shared a press release mentioning that Quant Mutual Fund crossed Rs 100 billion in assets under management (AUM) in August. The fund manager has over 8.1 million unique investors in just a few years.

Among 43 mutual fund houses, SBI Mutual Fund had the highest amount of cash in its portfolio as of August 2024. The largest fund house had Rs 30,675 crore cash in its portfolio, which was 4.33% of the total AUM.

ICICI Prudential mutual fund had around Rs 30,357 crore in cash, which was 7.72% of total assets under management. HDFC mutual fund had Rs 25,012 crore. cash holdings in its portfolio. This cash holding represented 6.77% of total assets under management.
