Radical Islamic preacher Zakir Naik meets and hugs Lashkar terrorists during visit to Pak | Video

islamabad: Radical Islamic preacher and wanted in India for spreading hate, Zakir Naik recently met with US-designated Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) terrorists during his visit to Pakistan as revealed by viral images from social networks, in Lahore.

The video shows Naik in the company of LeT figures Faisal Nadeem, Mohd Harris Dhar and Major Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi.

In the pictures, Hashmi and Dhar can be seen welcoming Naik to Lahore, where he spoke to a crowd of over 150,000 people at the Badshahi Mosque. The incident, closely monitored by the Lahore police, occurred during Naik’s month-long visit to Pakistan as a state guest, a status typically reserved for prominent dignitaries.

Zakir Naik, wanted in India for inciting hatred and extremism, came to Pakistan on September 30. In the footage, Naik can be seen hugging LeT terrorists at the mosque, raising multiple concerns about his visit.

India has condemned the presence of the radical preacher in Pakistan .

Lashkar-e-Tayyiba is responsible for multiple terrorist attacks, including the 2008 Mumbai attacks in which several people lost their lives.

Since 2016, Naik has been residing in Malaysia after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed charges against him under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
