Jharkhand Weather: There is a possibility of rain in all districts of Ranchi-Jharkhand till August 23. Rain is possible in some districts, including Ranchi and Palamu, within a few hours. Heavy rain is possible at isolated places in the south (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega) and adjoining central parts of Jharkhand (Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and Ramgarh) on August 18. An orange alert has been issued by the Met department. Scattered heavy rain is possible in the north-west (Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga), north-central and central parts of the state. Apart from thunder, thunderstorms may also occur. In view of the weather conditions, a yellow alert has been issued. Heavy rain may occur at isolated places in the west of the state on August 20 and 21. A warning has been issued by issuing a yellow alert.
