Raipur News: ‘There is no law and order in the state under BJP rule, Jungle Raj continues’, Congress targets rising crime – Raipur News Congress chief spokesperson dhananjay singh thakur targets BJP government in Chhattisgarh after rising crime

Raipur: State Congress chief spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur has come down fiercely on the BJP. Thakur said that under the BJP government, not a law but a jungle government has been established in the state. Criminals do not fear the law. Criminals are committing crimes without any restrictions. Criminals are defying the law so bravely. In a peaceful state like Chhattisgarh, incidents of lynching have increased after the formation of the BJP government. After the lynching in Mandirhansod area, the mob in Sukma and Kawardha killed people by beating them with sticks.
Dhananjay Singh Thakur also took aim at the Home Minister. He said that in Kawardha, the home district of Home Minister Vijay Sharma, a youth was killed by a mob and hanged from a tree. Four members of his family were locked in the house and set on fire. At the same time, in Sukma, five people were brutally murdered on suspicion of witchcraft. That same week, four people were murdered in Baloda Bazar district on suspicion of witchcraft.

Crime is on the rise in the state.

A knife attack took place at the On the Rocks dance bar located on VIP Road in the capital Raipur. Naxalites are killing common people. Incidents like murder, rape, gang rape, kidnapping, robbery etc. are happening every day in the state. The incidence of mob lynching is increasing. Illegal activities like liquor smuggling, marijuana smuggling, drugs, gambling and betting are openly taking place in all police stations.

The law is being ridiculed in the Home Secretary’s own district.

Thakur said that when the law is not strictly followed in Kawardha, the home district of the Home Minister, then God is the master of the entire state. Under the BJP government, the misuse of police machinery has been limited to intimidating opposition party leaders and implicating them in false cases. The general public is scared by the continuous criminal incidents. The Home Minister has failed to stop the criminal incidents.

CM also pointed to the meeting of Collector SP

Thakur took aim at CM Sai’s SP-Collector conference. He said the CM held a conference with the Collector and the SP two days ago on the poor law and order situation in the state but its effect is not visible. When the Home Minister is asked questions about law and order, he publishes false figures of criminal incidents of the previous government and then congratulates himself by downplaying the current incidents.
