Here, in the update issued by the Meteorological Department at 8 pm, an orange alert has been issued for three districts, while a yellow alert has been issued in about a dozen districts indicating the possibility of rain.

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, in the update released at 8 pm, orange alert has been issued in three districts of the state. In this regard, the Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to heavy rainfall in Jaipur, Dausa and Tonk districts. During this time, the Meteorological Department has warned the population about the possibility of thunderstorms amid strong winds and instructed people to stay at safe places. In the capital Jaipur, it rained heavily for about half an hour on Friday evening. Besides, winds also blew with a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers.

Orange alert issued for a dozen districts

According to the Meteorological Department, yellow alert will be in place in a dozen districts of Rajasthan. Among them, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in districts like Nagaur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Pali, Baran, Bundi, Jaisalmer, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Dholpur and Hanumangarh. According to the Met Department, thunderstorms may occur here as well. People have been asked to stay at safe places.

The monsoon will gain strength again from September 2nd

The monsoon season in the state weakened a bit for a day or two. Due to which the weather in many districts also cleared up. Due to this the temperature has increased. But there is a possibility that the monsoon will become active in the state from September 2. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the active monsoon season from September 2, heavy and very heavy rains are again possible in many parts of the state. The Meteorological Department estimates that on September 3 and 4 the rainy season will intensify in many parts of the state.
