Kannauj: The rape section (Kannauj case) will be increased in the FIR against former block chief Nawab Singh Yadav. In the statement given before the magistrate, the girl has admitted to rape. Earlier, the police had arrested Nawab Singh only by registering an FIR of molestation. In this case, the accused had raised suspicions of conspiracy. Moreover, a video of the girl’s aunt was also released on Tuesday, in which it was said that Nawab Singh was involved in a conspiracy. Following this statement, the police are looking for the aunt.
The role of the aunt is doubtful.
When Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested by the Kannauj police (Kannuaj News), the rape victim’s aunt was also in the room with him. She was the one who took the girl to Nawab Singh. When Nawab Singh was caught, his aunt left from there. The next day, the aunt spoke to the media and spoke of a conspiracy against Nawab Singh. However, she is yet to meet the police. Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand says that the girl’s aunt will also be questioned. Her role seems suspicious.
Investigation of university CCTV cameras.
The police will also examine the CCTV footage of Nawab Singh Yadav’s college from where he was arrested. The police seized the DVR from the CCTV cameras. The investigation will reveal when the girl reached the college. Apart from this, evidence of other incidents that occurred there can also be found in the CCTV footage.
