On October 3, Singhania took his newly delivered car for a test drive on the Mumbai transport link, but the vehicle broke down due to complete electrical failure, leaving him stranded.
Singhania expressed frustration over Lamborghini’s handling of the situation, stating on social media that neither Lamborghini India head Sharad Agarwal nor Asia head Francesco Scardaoni had reached out to address his concerns.
I am shocked by the arrogance of the Indian boss. @Agarwal_sharad and the director of Asia, Francesco Scardaoni. No one has even come close to check what the customers’ problems are.@lamborghini #StephanWinkelmann#Lamborghini #LamborghiniIndia #Scrambled #luxurycars #Supercars #ExoticCars…

Singhania described the lack of response as “shocking” and noted that despite being a long-time customer, the brand’s leadership showed “arrogance” by not making contact to address the issue.
He further highlighted that this incident was part of a wider pattern of problems, with two other owners reporting similar faults with the Revuelto within 15 days of delivery.
“It’s a new car. Are there reliability issues?” he questioned on social media, where he expressed concern about the reliability of the vehicle.
It is shocking that the Indian director of Lamborghini @agarwal_sharad You haven’t even bothered to make a phone call to ask what the problem is with a former loyal customer. Is brand arrogance reaching another level?@lamborghini #StephanWinkelmann#Lamborghini #LamborghiniIndia… https://t.co/iWI2zTxid1

Singhania, known for his collection of high-end cars that includes a Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi Q7, shared his disappointment on LinkedIn, sparking reactions from industry professionals and luxury car enthusiasts.
Figures such as Sanjeev Mulchandani, executive vice-president and chief commercial officer of Associated Broadcasting Co Pvt Ltd, criticized Lamborghini’s focus on customer relations, especially in India’s growing luxury car market, where customer engagement is critical.
Real estate business advisor Girish Chhalwani added that a direct approach to customer concerns would reflect a commitment to trust and satisfaction.
