Registration for CAT 2024 closes tomorrow
The deadline to apply for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 is tomorrow, September 20. Candidates who have not yet applied for admission to graduate programs in management can submit their applications at iimcat.ac.in.
Initially scheduled to close on September 13, the registration deadline for CAT 2024 It has been expanded, following a similar pattern to last year. This year, the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) is monitoring the CAT examCAT 2024, scheduled to be held on November 24, will be conducted in approximately 170 cities across the country. Candidates will have the opportunity to select their preferred cities for the exam from a list of five options during the application process for CAT 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT at iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: Please register first to create a user account.
Step 3: Please log in using the username and password generated during registration to access the online application form.
Step 4: Fill out the application form with your details and make the online payment to complete the registration process.
Step 5: After submitting the application form, print the confirmation page for your records.
Candidates wishing to pursue postgraduate and PhD programmes at the IIMs must submit their CAT application forms before 5 pm on September 20. The CAT question paper consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability.
The exam duration is 120 minutes, with each section lasting exactly 40 minutes. Candidates are not allowed to change sections once they begin taking a particular section, as per the exam guidelines.
