Bookings for the new bikes have already begun and can be made for ₹499, with the company promising delivery within 10 days. The RV1 is expected to compete with Ola Electric’s upcoming electric bike in the domestic electric two-wheeler space.
Anjali Rattan, Chairperson, RattanIndia Enterprises, said, “Our commitment to sustainability and our quest to design a motorcycle that is affordable but does not compromise on quality, features or safety have come together in the form of the RV1.”
With this launch, Revolt aims to expand the electric vehicle market by offering a cost-effective option for daily drivers. According to the company, the RV1 and RV1+ offer significant cost savings for drivers, with ownership costs up to three times lower than those of gasoline-powered motorcycles in the same category.

Interestingly, this new electric motorcycle is now the most affordable model in the Revolt range, which includes the RV400 and RV400 BRZ. The new RV1 will be available in four colour options and has a payload capacity of 250kg.
A key feature of the RV1 is its payload capacity, which can carry up to 250kg, compared to the typical 150kg capacity of other commuter motorcycles. The RV1 is fitted with wider tyres for improved grip and stability, making it suitable for urban commuting and longer trips.
RV1 Rebellion
The new electric bike is powered by a mid-motor and chain drive system, ensuring smooth acceleration and reliable performance. Riders can select from several speed modes to customize their riding experience, and a reverse mode helps with parking in tight spaces.
The RV1 comes with dual disc brakes, which enhances safety, and includes LED headlights and taillights for better visibility. Revolt claims the RV1 has the longest seat in its class. It also features a 6-inch digital LCD display that provides real-time ride information and error codes.

Both the RV1 and RV1+ feature a built-in charger for added convenience. The RV1+ variant supports fast charging technology, allowing the battery to be fully charged in just 1.5 hours.
In terms of range, the RV1 offers two battery options: a standard 2.2 kWh battery with a range of up to 100 km and a larger 3.24 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 160 km. Both batteries are IP67 rated for water resistance, ensuring durability even in harsh weather conditions.
Revolt Motors has also updated its flagship model, the RV400, with features that improve performance and comfort. The updated RV400 includes a fast charger capable of fully charging the motorcycle in 90 minutes, an extended range of 160 km, and additional safety features such as a leg guard and a center stand. The RV400 is now available in a new color, Lunar Green, and features a reverse mode for easier parking.
