Royal Enfield rekindles nostalgia with the Bullet 350 ‘Battalion Black’

Royal Enfield has presented a new variant of its iconic Bullet 350 The ‘Battalion Black’ motorcycle, priced at Rs 1,75,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), aims to bring back the nostalgic appeal of the classic Bullet with its distinctive design elements.

The Battalion Black variant features a return to the Bullet’s traditional aesthetic, including gold stripes, a bench seat and large side badging. The rear section also incorporates the classic taillight design from previous models. Additionally, chrome rims with spoked wheels add to the retro charm.

Mechanically, the Battalion Black remains unchanged from other variants of the Bullet 350. It is powered by a 349 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

In terms of safety, the Battalion Black is equipped with a 300mm front disc brake and a 153mm rear drum brake, as well as single-channel ABS. This variant sits above the military-themed Bullet model.

The Bullet 350, including the Battalion Black variant, continues to face competition from models like the Honda CB350, Jawa 350 and its sibling, the Classic 350.
