Aadhaar verification is mandatory in all railway recruitments including RPF SI, Constable, ALP; form to be reopened, Career News

It will now be mandatory for candidates appearing for Railway Recruitment Board exams to get their Aadhaar verified. Candidates will have to authenticate their identity through Aadhaar verification while applying for any post. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notification in this regard on its official websites. Railways has said that candidates who have used documents other than Aadhaar card (like driving licence, passport, PAN card, voter card, etc.) in applications for all recruitments released this year, will have to complete their Aadhaar verification. This means that those applicants for Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, JE, Paramedic, RPF Constable and SI recruitment who have used documents other than Aadhar card at the time of application, will have to complete Aadhar verification by logging on to rrbapply.gov.in. You will have to do so.

“Applicants/candidates are advised to authenticate their identity through Aadhaar verification while applying for various Centralised Employment Notifications (CEN) issued by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), the board said in the notice. Submission of RRB application through RRB will make it easier for applicants to get admission into the examination centres and the post-examination process will also be smoother.

2. In the second bullet point of the notice, the RRB said, ‘Applicants/candidates who have already applied for NSC issued by RRB during 2024 using documents other than Aadhaar (like Driving Licence, Passport, PAN, Voter ID, etc.), can complete the Aadhaar verification by logging in with their user credentials on www.rrbapply.gov.in. This Aadhaar verification is a one-time process and will automatically be valid for all current and future job notifications and applications.’

3. Railway Procurement Boards will not store or share Aadhaar data with any third party or use it for any purpose other than that of the respective CEN.
