The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on Saturday opened the online application process for filling up 9,144 vacancies for posts of technicians, including 1,092 Grade I posts for signallers and 8,052 Grade III posts for various categories.

The application modification window will open on April 9 and end on April 18, 2024.

• Here you will find the option that says ‘Apply Online – Technician Recruitment 2024’ and click on it.
• Enter all the requested data and complete the registration process.
• Log in with your email address and password
• Add your basic and educational qualifications, and upload the required documents, including photographs and signatures.
• Pay the application fee
• Before submitting, please check all the details entered by you.
• Submit the application form

What is the selection process?
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will conduct the shortlisting of candidates for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination on an individual basis. Each RRB will follow a 1:1 ratio corresponding to the available vacancies. The selection process will be based on the merit of the candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT).

The marks obtained in the CBT will be normalised over several shifts. Successful candidates for DV will receive notifications through the official RRB websites as well as via SMS and email on their registered mobile number and email address. They will be required to download their e-call letters for the DV session. It is important to note that there will be negative marking in the CBT, and 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
