On this occasion, General Manager in-charge (Municipal Services) TG Kanekar, General Manager (Projects & MOD) Amar Kumar Mohanty, General Manager (SMS-1) Nilamani Mohapatra, Deputy General Manager (IED) BK Behera and other senior officials of the plant were present. Referring to the mission ‘Clean India, Healthy India’, Shri Swai urged everyone to join hands and encourage others in the mission of keeping the city clean, green and healthy.

The Champions Award for the financial year 2023-24 was won by Baikunth Ghat Group led by Captain Niranjan Dhal, Senior Technician (Public Relations). The group received a cash amount of Rs 50,000 and a trophy. Captain Kedarnath Parida and the Sector-9 Group was the winning team for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25. He received Rs 30,000 and a trophy. The second prize of Rs 25,000 and a trophy was won by Captain Nirmala Barik and the group from Abhirampalli Basti. It is noteworthy that all the members of this group are women. Captain Pappu Behera and the team from Sector-8 Jubilee Park won the second prize of Rs 20,000 and a trophy.
