In an interview with Galatta India, Samantha Ruth Prabhu talked about one of the injuries he experienced while filming Citadel: Honey Bunny and shared his thoughts on it: “I had a concussion and I forgot names after that. I went completely blank. “That was something extraordinary.”
The actor added: “Now that I think about it, no one took me to the hospital. No one asked me.” Not to worry though, the show’s writer Sita Menon clarified that they had a doctor on call, who Samantha couldn’t remember due to her concussion.
The actor further recalled, “I remember, during my concussion, I heard that we only had the set for less than a day and that we had to finish filming. So, in my concussion, I thought, ‘I’m coming, people, I’m coming.’ ” Then I remember the specialist was in front of me and then I thought, ‘What am I doing?’ and they said, ‘Okay, cut, it’s not going to happen.'”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu also said that she pleaded with the makers of ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny‘Raj and DK will choose someone else due to their health problems. However, they did not relent and went ahead with Samantha, who is receiving praise for her action sequences as seen in the recently released trailer.
In the same interview with Galatta India, Samantha shared, “I begged them to move on because I really didn’t believe I could do it. I was really sure I couldn’t. I sent other recommendations: ‘Look at this heroine, she’s so amazing. She will kill him. I’m begging you, I can’t do this.’ I sent them about four options. “I really wasn’t feeling well.”
She added: “Now, watching this show, I’m so grateful that they didn’t do it without me and that I found the strength to do it. Even before the verdict is known for this program, I will give it my all to get ahead.”
