NEET Exam 2024: 18-year-old Sunny Kumar from Noida has taken steps towards becoming a doctor by clearing the NEET UG 2024 exam. Sunny scored 664 marks out of 720 in the NEET UG 2024 exam. Let us tell you that Sunny works as a samosa seller in Noida. Every evening, she sets up a samosa stall for 4-5 hours. Sunny’s story shared on social media has inspired people across the country at length.
It was not easy for Sunny to set up a samosa stall along with her studies. With her dedication and hard work, Sunny cleared the NEET UG 2024 exam and rose from being a samosa seller to becoming a future doctor. It was not easy for Sunny to manage school, work and exam preparation simultaneously. According to Sunny, her curiosity about how small medicines can cure big diseases sparked her interest in the medical field. Sunny said that she got interested after studying medicine and to understand how people recover, she chose the subject of Biology and started preparing for NEET.

Study from the online coaching platform.
Sunny from Noida has been studying through online coaching platform Physics Wallah since class 11. Sunny used to study till late night after work. Physics Wala founder Alakh Pandey also shared Sunny’s inspiring video on Instagram.
In this viral video, you will see Alakh Pandey going to Sunny’s rented room where the walls are filled with notes. Later in the video, you will also see Alakh sir enjoying fried samosas by Sunny. Alakh Pandey has offered a scholarship of Rs 6 lakh to Sunny. Along with this, considering the young man’s dedication and capability, a promise was also made to pay his medical college tuition. Alakh Pandey said that we feed him sweets when we select them, but Sunny fed us samosas made with his own hands.
Sunny told about her journey to NEET UG success that many times her eyes hurt and she would get stressed from studying all night. But this sacrifice was necessary to fulfil her goal of becoming a doctor. Sunny has also shown an unwavering commitment to her dreams. She said, Selling samosas will not decide my future.
Balance between work and studies.
Sunny managed to balance work and studies to crack the NEET UG exam. Despite spending hours every day at samosa stalls, Sunny has shown her determination by clearing the NEET exam with 664 marks. Growing up in an economically weak family, Sunny had to sell samosas to support the family.
Sunny’s mother helps the family by working as a daily wage labourer and in other people’s homes. But she still made her education a priority. Sunny continued her studies by even running a samosa shop. The balance Sunny created between work and studies is the reason for her success.
