Samsung has launched its new budget smartphone for under Rs 10,000 in India. The newly launched Samsung Galaxy M05 It features a large 6.7-inch HD+ display, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a large 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
The Galaxy M05, priced at Rs 7,999 in India, will be available in a 4GB + 64GB storage variant, expandable up to 1TB. The device comes in a single Mint Green colour and will be available on Amazon, Samsung’s e-store, and select retail stores.
As for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M05 comes with a large 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and offers expandable storage, up to 1TB via a micro-SD card slot. The device runs on Android 14 and will also receive two years of major OS updates and four years of security updates.
As for the camera specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M05 comes with a dual camera setup at the rear, which includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens with F/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. For video calling and selfies, the device comes with an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M05 is also backed by a large 5000mAh battery and comes with 25W fast charging support. Connectivity options on the phone include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
