The Supreme Court of India will recruit candidates for Assistant posts. Eligible candidates can apply at sci.gov.in.

The Supreme Court of India, SCI, has invited applications for the posts of Junior Court Assistant. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of SCI at sci.gov.in. This recruitment drive will fill 80 posts in the organisation.

The application process began on August 23 and will end on September 12, 2024. Read below for eligibility requirements, the selection process, and other details.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates wishing to apply for the post must have passed the 10th grade examination conducted by a government-recognized board or institute. A minimum one-year full-time diploma in cooking or culinary arts from a recognized institute is required. Candidates between the age of 18 and 27 are eligible to apply.

Candidates must have three years of kitchen experience in a prestigious hotel/restaurant/government department/company etc.

Selection process

The selection process will consist of a written test based on an objective questionnaire in two languages ​​(English and Hindi), a practical test on business skills and an interview. The written test will carry 100 marks, the practical test on business skills will carry 70 marks and the interview will carry 30 marks. The duration of the written test is 1.5 hours (90 minutes). There will be no negative marking. The written test will be conducted at 17 test centres in 16 states.

The final shortlist will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in objective written tests, practical business skills tests and interviews.

Application fee

Candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs.400/-. The application fee for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Ex-Servicemen/Dependents of Freedom Fighters/Widows/Divorced Women/Judicially Separated Women who have not remarried is 200/-. The fee is to be paid online only. For more details, candidates may refer to the official website of SCI.
