Food poisoning: More than 50 people fell ill after eating pakodas made from buckwheat flour on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami in Farah police station area of ​​Mathura. As the health of so many people deteriorated at once, they were rushed to the hospital for treatment. These people are undergoing treatment and as per information received, the condition of 6 people is still critical. As the condition worsened, 6 people were admitted to SN Hospital, Agra. Apart from this, 15 people are undergoing treatment at the district hospital and 11 people are being treated at Saiya Hospital.

It is believed that the poor quality of buckwheat flour is the reason

In villages like Parkham, Baroda, Mirzapur and Makhdoom Khairat under Farah police station area in Mathura, these people fell ill after eating laddus made from spoiled Kattu flour. According to information received, the villagers say that there are some shops in the area where the fasting people had bought buckwheat flour. It is now believed that the accident was due to the poor quality of the flour. Some locals have also expressed the possibility that some poisonous substance was mixed with the flour. The villagers are angry after this incident and have demanded that a drive be launched against these shops and the quality of their products be checked.
