Former big Bang member Seungri He has addressed rumours about his attendance at a ‘Burning sun‘ event in Indonesia. The former K-pop idol also apologized for ‘using’ BIGBANG’s name after being released from prison.

As rumors grew about his attendance at an event in Indonesia, Seungri issued a clarification. In an interview with Daily sports, The former BIGBANG star debunked rumors about his alleged appearance at a ‘Burning Sun’ event in Indonesia. “I don’t even know where the Indonesian city mentioned is. I’m so perplexed that something that isn’t true has come to this. It’s so obviously ridiculous.” Seungri hinted at plans to crack down on the event’s organizers over charges of image rights violation and defamation.

For the uninitiated, on August 8, Indonesian event management company TSV Management announced that they will be hosting an exclusive event called Burning Sun Surabaya. Rumors have surfaced on the internet about Burning Sun convict Seungri attending the event, which is scheduled to take place on August 31, as a special guest.

The former K-pop idol also clarified rumors about his invitation to a party in Cambodia and his visit to Hong Kong for business. Regarding the party in Cambodia, Seungri said, “I came because an acquaintance opened a beer bar. It’s not like someone paid me to invite him to an event.”

He also apologized for using G-Dragon and BIGBANG’s names at the party. “I was so drunk from the atmosphere that I accidentally mentioned the names of the former members, but I didn’t behave well. It was wrong and it won’t happen again.” As of now, Seungri has no intentions of doing any business related to the club and plans to stay out of the spotlight.
