Babar Azam Babar Azam found himself in a very difficult situation after a bizarre performance in the Test series against Bangladesh, where Pakistan suffered a humiliating 2-0 defeat. Babar Azam was the heart and soul of Pakistan’s batting, however, the last few years have not been very good for him. Babar, who was once the idol of Pakistan’s greats, is now being heavily criticised for his shambolic performance.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan cricketer Ali simple Ali gave a strange piece of advice to Babar Azam to overcome his losing streak. Ali said that Babar should get married and that he feels that the white-ball captain will be a different man after his marriage.
“Babar Azam, talk to your parents and get married. After that, you will be a completely different man. I know how a player feels when he is not playing well. I request Babar’s parents to get him married. Like an elder brother, I want him to say Shaadi kar le bhai, ab umar zyada ho gayi hai teri (Get married brother, you are old enough now),” Basit said on his YouTube channel.
Basit also criticised Pakistan for their defeat against Bangladesh and said the team should open their eyes or they would suffer defeats against teams like Afghanistan and Nepal.
“This is a wake-up call for Pakistan Cricket“They cannot sink any lower than this. Now is the time to wake up and open their eyes. If they still don’t open their eyes after losing to Bangladesh, then play Test series only against Nepal and Afghanistan. Pakistan has learnt a lesson and it will benefit them,” he said.
