Delhi News: A shocking incident has come to light in the country’s capital, Delhi. Here a woman has lodged an FIR for rape. According to the report, the woman was raped in a well-known five-star hotel. The accused is a resident of south Delhi.
The case is a year old, but the police registered the case on October 3. The woman said in her written complaint that her husband had died last year.
The friendship occurred on Instagram, the rape occurred in the hotel
The woman said that shortly after her husband’s death, she had become friends with a young man named Amit on Instagram. He does business in South Delhi. The woman said that in December last year, Amit called her to meet her at a 5-star hotel. He raped her there. On October 3, the police registered a case on the complaint of the victim. The police are investigating the matter after registering an FIR.
Another similar incident came to light
On December 30, a 55-year-old woman had reported that a man she had befriended a few months ago had raped her after giving her narcotics. Police said the accused has been identified as 35-year-old Sunil. In this case, the police had said that they received a PCR call at Safdarjung Enclave police station on September 30, alleging sexual harassment. The woman told the police that she had met the accused near Lodhi Road on January 1. He introduced himself as a company driver and offered to give her a ride.
Police said Sunil asked the woman for help in finding a flat in Delhi. After which the two exchanged phone numbers and remained in regular contact. The woman alleged that on June 20, Sunil called her to Safdarjung, where he made her drink intoxicating liquor and she lost consciousness. After this he took her to a hotel and raped her there.
