Actor Shilpa Shirodkar has shared that he was looking for a job before deciding to be a part of Bigg Boss 18. In an interview with Indian ExpressShilpa said that although she wanted to work, people told her that there were no jobs. He also added that they weren’t even ready to meet her. Talking about your decision to do Big Boss 18Shilpa said, “Honestly, I am a big fan of the show. Every time I watched the show, my daughter used to say that I should go. The family is very happy that I come into the house. I was looking for a job, my daughter is now 20 years old and my husband travels a lot for work, so I wanted to come back to do something for myself. I was trying to look for work and connect with people, but everyone told me there were no jobs. I am taking this on because I am an actor by profession, it is my job, so what better platform than this for me?
Shilpa talks about looking for a job
She said, “I have been asked this a lot and I have always said yes, I was looking for a job before Bigg Boss, but no one answers your phone and if they do, they diplomatically say that there is nothing happening right now in the industry. . They will call again when there is an opportunity, this has happened to me while I was out late. I am an actor, I want to work, for me Bigg Boss is also work. People see it differently, but it’s a job. My goal in doing this is to get more work later, I’m not being fake or diplomatic here, I was looking for work, but people weren’t even ready to meet me.”
About Shilpa’s career
Shilpa made her Bollywood debut in 1989 with Ramesh Sippy’s film Bhrashtachar alongside Mithun Chakraborty and RekhaLater, he was a part of some commercially successful films including Kishen Kanhaiya, Trinetra, Hum, Khuda Gawah, Aankhen, Gopi Kishan among others.
Shilpa established herself as a Bollywood star. He has done some memorable roles working with actors Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Govinda, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and others. Shilpa is the younger sister of Namrata Shirodkar, former actor and wife of Mahesh Babu.
