Mumbai: Actress Drashti Dhami, who is expecting her first baby with husband Neeraj Khemka, has shared a glimpse of her baby shower. Taking to Instagram Stories, Drashti, who has 3.1 million followers, shared happy pictures from the baby shower celebrations.
The mom-to-be is seen in a blue one-shoulder dress with a slit at the back. She wears her long hair down and flaunts her pregnant glow. The outfit is completed with white ballet flats. The decoration has a touch of pink and blue, while the two-tier cake features stars and a moon.
Actor Nakuul Mehta shared a picture with the soon-to-be parents on Instagram Stories. His wife Jankee Parekh also appears in the photo. He captioned the post with the caption, “Only love for baby D’Nero.”
Actress Sunayana Fozdar, who has 1.1 million followers on Instagram, took to her Stories section and shared heartwarming pictures with Drashti. In the caption, she wrote, “From childhood friends to watching you grow into a hot mommy… #mothersglow.”
Sunayana, who is currently seen in the comedy ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, shared a group photo and wrote, “It’s always all heart.” Drashti and businessman Neeraj tied the knot on February 21, 2015.
On the work front, Drashti began her career with appearances in the music video ‘Saiyyan Dil Mein Aana Re’, ‘Humko Aaj Kal Hai’, ‘Teri Meri Nazar Ki Dori’ and ‘Nachle Soniyo Tu’. She made her television debut in 2007 with ‘Dill Mill Gayye’, where she played the smiling Dr. Chadda.
In 2008, she participated in Ekta Kapoor’s reality show ‘Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket’. In 2010, she appeared as the lead in ‘Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi’ alongside Gurmeet Choudhary.
She was then part of television operas: ‘Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon’, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7’, ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’, ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’, ‘Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka’.
Drashti last appeared in the 2023 web series ‘Duranga’. She played the character of Ira Jaykar Patel in the show starring Gulshan Devaiah.
