Sobhita Dhulipala gave photography buffs what they had been waiting for for a while – her first public appearance after her engagement to Naga Chaitanya.

Sobhita Dhulipala looked calm and casual as she stepped out for what was her first official public appearance after her engagement to Naga Chaitanya. Sobhita opted for a collared, button-down denim jumpsuit. The flared hem of the jumpsuit was balanced by a denim belt that gave it shape. White strappy heels, small silver hoop earrings and a wristwatch completed her look. Her permed hair was the final detail of this look that really sealed the retro label. Apart from these details, what of course stood out was her engagement ring, which Sobhita showed off with a radiant smile.

Sobhita and Chay got engaged on August 8.

Until the news of their engagement officially broke, Sobhita and Chay never directly addressed their relationship, about which rumours had been circulating for some time. On August 8, veteran actor Naga Chaitanya, Chay’s father, took to his social media to share snippets from the couple’s intimate engagement ceremony, welcoming Sobhita into the family and wishing them love on their journey together.

The acting couple first sparked dating rumors in the summer of 2022. This was followed by several sightings together, though the two always went out of their way to avoid any questions about their love life. The first time the two acknowledged their relationship was on August 9, when they shared a series of photos from their engagement ceremony.

Coming back to the premiere that Sobhita attended, Angry youth chronicles the greatest gift to Bollywood from the yesteryear screenwriting duo of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar: the aura of the angry young man, best personified by Amitabh Bachchan.

The documentary will be available for streaming on OTT starting today, August 20.
