Special Fixed Deposit Rates 2024: THESE Banks Launched FD Scheme With Upto 8.85% Return

Special FD Rates 2024In August, several Indian banks revised their fixed deposit interest rates and some introduced special offers for limited periods to attract customers. Notably, banks such as RBL Bank and Federal Bank introduced new fixed deposit schemes with higher interest rates.

RBL Bank Special Fixed Deposit

RBL Bank has launched a special fixed deposit called ‘Vijay Fixed Deposit’. This limited-time offer pays tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of Indian military personnel by offering attractive financial rewards. According to a press release by RBL Bank, the ‘Vijay Fixed Deposit’ has been designed to express appreciation for the warriors of the country. The FD offers an interest rate of 8.85 per cent per annum for senior citizens, 8.60 per cent per annum for non-senior citizens and 8.1 per cent per annum for regular fixed deposits.

Special fixed deposit of the Federal Bank

Federal Bank has also introduced a special Independence Day offer with highly competitive interest rates on term deposits. The bank is offering interest rates of 7.35 per cent per annum for the general public including NRIs and 7.85 per cent per annum for resident senior citizens for a tenor of 400 days. For a tenor of 777 days, the rates are 7.40 per cent per annum for the general public and 7.90 per cent per annum for senior citizens. Further, for a tenor of 50 months, the interest rates are set at 7.40 per cent per annum for the general public and 7.90 per cent per annum for senior citizens.

The Federal Bank has also introduced a Deposit Plus (Non-Callable) scheme for deposits above Rs 1 crore. Under this scheme, the interest rates are 7.50 per cent per annum for the general public and 8 per cent per annum for senior citizens for a tenor of 400 days. For a tenor of 777 days, the rates are 7.55 per cent per annum for the general public and 8.05 per cent per annum for senior citizens. For a tenor of 50 months, the interest rates are 7.55 per cent per annum for the general public and 8.05 per cent per annum for senior citizens.
