The first phase of spot counselling round will be held on September 12 from 9 am for admission to vacant seats of BBA, BPharm, BTech Lateral Entry and BPharm Lateral Entry in Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology.
Dean UG Prof. Vinod Mishra said that counselling will be held for 44 vacant seats in BBA and 11 vacant seats in BPharm. Apart from this, there are 8 vacant seats in BPharm Lateral Entry. In B.Tech Lateral Entry, admission will be held for three seats in Electronics and Communication Engineering (IOT), 1 seat in Electrical Engineering, 7 seats in Mechanical and 14 vacant seats in Chemistry. Candidates will have to report between 9.00 am and 11.00 am. The merit list will be released at 1 pm. Thereafter, the seat allotment process will begin from 2 pm.
Admission for the vacant B.Tech seats will be held tomorrow. The counselling for the second round of admission for the vacant seats in the first year of B.Tech will be held on September 13. When the seat matrix is released on Thursday evening, it will be clear how many seats are vacant in each subject. About 18 seats from other states remained vacant in the first round of counselling.
Many candidates are denied admission if they do not secure the subject of their choice after admission. The admission process will begin on Friday at 9:00 am. Attendance for access to the multipurpose hall will be taken till 12:00 pm. The merit list will be published at 1 pm.
