Kannada Director Sagar Srinivas He recently addressed concerns about the title of his upcoming film, Kedarnath Kuri Farmscheduled for release on August 30.
No offense intended
During a press conference to promote the film, Srinivas Sagar clarified that there was no intention to offend anyone with the title of the film.
Srinivas Sagar stressed that the choice of title was purely creative and was not intended to hurt any religious sentiments. “My name is Srinivas and my intention is not to offend anyone. I am a Hindu and I urge everyone not to do any actions that may harm our religion,” Sagar said.
The film, with a rural theme comedyhas completed production and is gearing up for release. Sagar explained that the meaning of the title will be revealed within the context of the film itself, maintaining an element of suspense. “If I explain the reason behind the title now, I will give away the story. Let’s keep the suspense and let the audience discover it in the theatre,” he added.

This film marks the debut of Madenoor Manu, known for his role in Comedy Khiladigalu and features an ensemble cast that includes Kari Subbu, Tennis Krishna, Sunanda and Muthuraj. The music of Kedarnath Kuri Farm is composed by Sunny Don Abraham, with photography by Rakesh Tilak.
Sagar also spoke about the current trend of declining viewership of local films, attributing it to the popularity of films in other languages. “People are watching more films in other languages, which is affecting our local film industry. However, we believe that Kedarnath Kuri Farm will offer a refreshing and enjoyable experience for movie buffs,” he said.
