The stock market today Opening:After going through an upward impulse, the stock market has started flat today. In early trading, the Sensex and Skilled The BSE Sensex index started the day down 135.61 points, or 0.17 per cent, at 80,667.25. Similarly, the Nifty50 index fell 18.30 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 24,680.55.

On the NSE, Divi’s Labs, HDFC Life, Tata Motors and Bharti Airtel emerged as the top gainers.

Shriram Finance, UltraTech Cement and Tata Steel were among the top losers.

The BSE saw similar trends, with Bajaj Finserv, Tata Motors and Bharti Airtel leading the gains.

On the other hand, UltraTech Cement, Tata Steel and Tech Mahindra were the top laggards.
