Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta writes heartfelt note to him on Raksha Bandhan | People News

Mumbai: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta penned a heartfelt post in his memory. Taking to her Instagram account, Shweta shared a video of Sushant saying that he would do everything possible to become not just a good actor but also a great human being.

“Happy Raksha Bandhan to my dear brother, I hope you always stay happy and protected in the higher realms in the company of the Gods (red heart emoji),” she wrote.


Sushant passed away on June 14, 2020. He was found dead at his residence in Bandra.

In June this year, on the fourth anniversary of his death, Shweta wrote an emotional note on social media. She demanded justice for her brother as the investigation into his death is still ongoing by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

He also spoke to ANI and said that he has full confidence in the government and the judiciary.

“I am very hopeful. That is why we have gathered together to demand justice. I have full faith in our government and our judicial system. And I have a feeling that we will know what happened. Honestly, there are a lot of questions. He was fine until the 13th. However, I was a little scared,” Shweta said.
She added: “I know that everyone’s prayers will come true. We will definitely have the answers to all the questions one day.”

Sushant left this world at the age of 34. Sushant started his career in the entertainment industry with television shows like ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil’ and later received praise for his performance in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’.

The actor moved to the big screen and was seen in films like ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’, ‘Chhichhore’, ‘Dil Bechara’, among others.

He gained a lot of popularity after his biggest hit ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’. The actor was last seen in director Mukesh Chhabra’s ‘Dil Bechara’ alongside Sanjana Sanghi, which was the official remake of the novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars’. The film was released on OTT.
