Teacher used to show obscene videos to students on her mobile phone, this is how the matter came to light

Maharashtra News: People are discussing the news of a government school in Bhiwandi of Thane district in Maharashtra. In fact, a teacher here has been arrested for showing obscene videos to female students on his mobile phone. A police official said that the accused has been identified as Muzammil, who was arrested on Wednesday.

How was the matter revealed?

Police said that her act came to light when a student told her parents about it. Giving information about the case, Senior Inspector of Shanti Nagar Police Station Vinayak Gaikwad said that recently a seventh grade student came late to school. This was because she often came late to school so the principal of the school called her parents and asked why this was happening but at that time the minor did not tell them anything about it. When the victim returned home, she told her parents that she did not feel like going to school as the teacher was showing her obscene videos on his mobile phone and abusing her. She said that she (the teacher) had done the same with other female students too.

In which sections was the case registered?

The officer said that after coming to know about this, her parents contacted the police and lodged a complaint against the teacher, following which an FIR was registered. The teacher was subsequently arrested and booked under sections 74 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Code of Judicial Power (BNS) and 351 (criminal intimidation) and a case of sexual offences against children was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
