TeamLease EdTech partners with Andhra Government to launch internship platform for graduate students

He Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and equipmentleasing EdTech has officially launched Apsche.TeamLeaseEdTech.com – a platform that offers internship opportunities for graduate students.

The opportunities will offer students real-world training experiences alongside their formal education. The platform is scheduled to launch on January 16, 2024.

The initiative focuses on enhancing the employability of graduating students by addressing the gap between education and industry requirements, TeamLease said in a statement. Apsche.TeamLeaseEdTech.com is meticulously designed to make students job-ready, ensuring a seamless transition from the academic realm to the professional world, it added.

APSCHE and TeamLease EdTech will provide 50,000 internships within the state, offering graduating seniors in Andhra Pradesh State access to paid internship programs.

“This project and platform are more than just on-the-job training programmes; they are a gateway for students to seamlessly transition from academia to industry,” said Shantanu Rooj, Founder and CEO, TeamLease EdTech. “Our collaboration with APSCHE is a testament to our commitment to enhancing employability and equipping the youth of Andhra Pradesh with the skills and experience required for the changing job market,” he added.

This initiative is set to be a game-changer in the state’s higher education system, underlining the importance of practical experience to complement academic learning. The paid internships offered through this programme are designed to cater to the diverse needs of various industries, thereby expanding opportunities for students to explore and excel in their chosen fields. “Through this platform, we ensure that students are not just academically qualified but are also industry-ready.
