Ted Lasso season 4 nearing kickoff? AFC Richmond could be back on the pitch soon

Fans of the beloved Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso There may soon be reason to celebrate, as the popular football comedy is approaching a fourth season. While the season 3 finale seemed to offer a fitting conclusion, recent developments suggest that AFC Richmond could be making a comeback.

According to reports from DeadlineWarner Bros. Television, which co-produces Ted Lasso with Universal Television, has renewed the contracts of several of the show’s main cast members.

Among those returning are Hannah Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Walton, Brett Goldstein, known for his role as the brave Roy Kent, and Jeremy Swift, who plays the endearing Leslie Higgins, according to the report.

Though the fourth season has yet to be officially greenlit, these contract renewals mark a significant step toward making it happen. Co-creator and star Jason Sudeikis is reportedly attached to the project, though details about other returning cast members remain uncertain, particularly those on SAG-AFTRA contracts. Actors including Juno Temple (Keeley Jones) and Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) are expected to be in talks for new deals.

However, fans may miss Phil Dunster’s Jamie Tartt as the actor is rumoured to be unavailable due to commitments to other series, including Prime Video. The Devil’s Hour and Apple Surface.
