As there are still numerous vacancies, the Revanth Reddy government has opted to cancel the previous notification and issue a new one to fill these posts.
The Government of Telangana has decided to cancel the earlier recruitment process for teachers as described in Notification No. 20/RC-1/DSC/TRT/2023. This decision was taken on 28th February, 2024. Candidates who had previously applied in response to this notification need not re-apply as their applications will be automatically transferred to the new notification.

In addition, (796) Special Education Teachers at Primary Level and (220) at Upper Primary/Secondary Level will be appointed in Government and Local Body Schools as per GOMs.No.26, Department of Finance (HRM.VII) dated 26th February, 2024. The total number of direct recruitment posts for DSC-2024 is (11062).
