Major accident in UP: Ten people were killed in a collision between a bus and a van in Bulandshahr, UP. Around 27 people were injured in the accident. A head-on collision between a van and a bus took place on Sunday. Among the injured is also a newborn girl, who has sustained serious injuries. The police and the administration acted promptly and admitted the injured to the hospital. All of them are undergoing treatment.
Direct collision between bus and van
Giving information about the incident, Bulandshahr DM Chandra Prakash Singh said that there was a head-on collision between a van and a private bus on Sunday. He said that the van was heading from Ghaziabad towards Sambhal. At that time, there was a direct collision with the bus coming from the front. The incident took place near Salempur police station. 37 passengers were injured in the accident, of which 10 died.
CM Yogi gave instructions for better treatment
Taking cognizance of the incident, UP CM Yogi Adityanath directed the district magistrate to ensure best medical treatment for the injured. Locals said the van coming from Ghaziabad side collided with the private bus coming from the front on the Badaun-Meerut highway.
Police said that of the 10 people who lost their lives in the road accident, seven are from Aligarh district. One is from Bulandshahr district and two have not been identified. All those who lost their lives in the accident are men. with language input
