For vehicles coming from Piska Mod to Ratu Road, the route from Piska Mod to Itki Road, Kathal Mod, Argora and Harmu Bypass was fixed. Due to this, the entire road became congested. Similarly, Kanke Road was also closed. The route of vehicles going towards Kanke Road was fixed via Karamtoli, Chirondi, Bodeya, Arsande. At the same time, at most places, traffic was managed manually by switching off the traffic lights. Due to this, long queues of vehicles formed at Karamtoli Chowk, New Market Chowk, Sahajanand Chowk, Argora Chowk and other places.

There was also a traffic jam due to barricades.

Due to the closure of the entrance around Morhabadi ground and on Kanke Road, this road also got jammed due to the pressure of vehicles going to Kanke Road, Bariatu, Morhabadi and Kanke on Bariatu Road. However, traffic police were deployed at various places. Still, the traffic police personnel had to make a huge effort to clear the jam.
