The lame man-eaters are still on the run, people panic even after they caught the fifth wolf

Bahraich wolf attack: The fifth wolf, which was part of the man-eating wolf pack that has become synonymous with terror in around 50 villages in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, has been captured. The forest department team caught it early on Tuesday. Now only one wolf from this pack is out of control. Bahraich divisional forest officer Ajit Pratap Singh provided information in this regard. He said that a wolf, which was part of a pack of man-eating wolves, was captured near Harbanspur village near Ghaghra river at around 4 am. This is the fifth member of the six-wolf pack that has become synonymous with terror in 50 villages of Mahsi tehsil over the last one and a half months.

The officer said that now the last remaining wolf in this pack is lame. Hopefully, it will also be caught soon. Singh said that the Forest Department team had found footprints of a wolf in the area during the same night, but since an operation to catch it could not be conducted at night, the Forest Department team reached the spot at 4 am and surrounded it. The wolf tried to escape but was caught in the trap laid by the forest department. The forest workers, with the help of villagers, caught the wolf and imprisoned it in a cage.

A lame wolf also joins the pack of man-eating wolves.

Singh said the forest department team had caught the fourth wolf from the pack on August 29 and after that perhaps the remaining wolves had become alert. He said it has been found that a lame wolf is also included in the pack of man-eating wolves but the wolf caught today is not lame. The problem will not end until it is caught. Bahrain Since July 17, ‘Operation Bhediya’ has been underway to nab the pack of six wolves that were spreading terror in 50 villages of Mahsi tehsil. So far, at least six people have died due to the attacks of these wolves, while the cause of death of two other people is also attributed to wolf attacks. However, this is yet to be confirmed.
